Along with the eccentric AVL agent, Lucy Wilde, Gru believes that his main suspect is truly the presumed dead supervillain, El Macho, whom his teen son is likewise creating the moves on his eldest daughter, Margo. Apparently blinded by his over protectiveness relating to his own children and the growing mutual attention to Lucy, Gru appears upon the wrong track while his minions are now being silently captured en masse for some malevolent objective.
