Dhoom 3 is undoubtedly an upcoming Hindi action thriller film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and created by Aditya Chopra. It is going to be the third installment of one's popular Dhoom series. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Khan while Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif establish the antagonist duo. Dhoom 3 will certainly be released on 20 December 2013 in regular 2D and IMAX formats. This is actually the first Bollywood movie to become released within the IMAX format.
