Salman performs the character of Major Jai Agnihotri while Tabu will be viewed as Riya Agnihotri. The movie is a remake of Telugu film 'Stalin' which shown Chiranjeevi in the lead.
'Stalin', directed by AR Murugadoss, was about an ex-Army officer who is now living a quiet life, and some plans in his mind. He once used to be a war hero, but his both time and fate have transformed, and in fact now he is forced to live a secluded life. However, one thing that hasn't shifted is his love for the country and for social welfare.
Salman Khan is reprising Chiranjeevi's part in 'Jai Ho'. Major Jai Agnihotri initiates a chain welfare programme in which he's helping people and doesn't want mere thanks in return. He wants them to help 3 more people in an effort to keep the torch of welfare perfectly conserved.
The teaser of the movie was released amongst fans, a trend which has started in Bollywood recently. But, is this strategy about to pay well for Salman Khan?
